Get to Know Australian Academy of Classical Ballet
Previously Australian conservatory of Ballet, is now directed by former principal dancer of Birmingham Royal Ballet Jenna Roberts and and current principal of the Australian Ballet Joseph Caley. Our staff is made up of high-level teachers with years of experience in the industry. They have trained numerous dancers into confident, well-rounded performers that are prepared to conquer any stage or dance floor.
Nurturing young talent
We believe in nurturing young talent to reach their potential not just through ballet classes but also implementing other disciplines and techniques through our on site pilates studio and sports psychology to help shape a well rounded ballet dancer and person.
Professional Coaching Program
Australian Academy of Classical Ballet Professional Coaching Program will provide students with accelerated intensive training whilst being able to attend academic school in the morning or Virtual School Victoria. The program will give students every opportunity to pursue professional goals in the dance industry whilst completing academic studies. Throughout the program, students are given performing experience and audition opportunities.
The progress of all students is carefully monitored and they receive individual reports with assessments conducted regularly. The most up to date training techniques are taught to uniquely focus on the requirements of the profession, namely the refinement and dynamics of classical and contemporary techniques, physical fitness, artistic performance quality, development of individual skills, resilience, a professional attitude and guidance for employment preparation.
